Job Summary We are hiring for the following positions: Full Time Night Shift Part Time: Weekend Day Shift Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals The intensive care unit: 24-bed unit, with a MICU and SICU wing, operated on a 24-hour basis. This nursing area provides care to adult patients. Admission diagnoses include but are not limited to acute MI/ACS, heart failure, lethal dysrhythmias, acute respiratory failure, shock, acute neurological disorders and high risk or complicated post-operative patients requiring specialized monitoring and care. This unit also provides care to open heart patients, from the immediate post-operative period through IMC level of care until discharge.
