Must be comfortable with all ages (children under 3 years old account for 5% of volumes). Case Variety: See non-flu season volumes in the upper 20s. Treated Conditions Include: Allergies/asthma flare-ups, upper respiratory/sinus/eye/UTI/STI infections, flu-like symptoms, dehydration, mild sprains and strains, minor fractures, back pain, headaches, skin conditions (rashes, bites, burns), minor cuts, foreign object removal, and concussion symptoms. Facility Support: On-site Diagnostics: Lab and X-Ray, COVID-19 PCR testing, plus swab/fingerstick, urine, blood glucose, and hemoglobin testing, are on-site. Advanced imaging is available at the hospital. The hospital has long-standing, excellent Emergency and Radiology Departments . The Morris Urgent Care is an Immediate Care location; walk-ins are welcome, and coming in 2026, patients can call ahead to "save your spot." Requirements & Certifications: Required: BLS, PALS, ACLS & certifications (all through AHA). Required: Ability to read radiographs (initial reads only with radiologist support). Required: Skillful with suturing (complete skill assessment survey). Required: Proficiency with OccMed work. Note: DOT certification must be obtained before the hire date.
