We are seeking a Senior Director, Procurement Transformation to be part of the Procurement Leadership Team, this role will play a critical part in the overall procurement transformation journey.
Reporting to SVP, Chief Procurement Officer. You’ll coach and inspire a dedicated global procurement transformation team to strengthen the operating foundation of the Procurement function by leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of systems, digital systems, processes, analytics, and risk management capabilities across both Direct and Indirect Procurement.
Relocation and visa support to Singapore (only) is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
The role drives digital enablement, productivity analytics, and data-led decision-making, while building robust tail & tactical spend operations, supply resilience processes, and predictive risk intelligence to support business continuity and value delivery.
The core responsibilities of the role are as below:
Strategic Direction & Operating Model:
- Lead the end-to-end systems and process architecture for Direct and Indirect Procurement
- Partner with Procurement Leadership, Finance, IT & Ops Product teams to define and deliver the Procurement Digital Roadmap
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and performance excellence across the function
- Lead delivery of core operational processes, including supplier onboarding and contract compliance management
Digital Orchestration & Tail / Tactical Spend
- Lead the implementation and scale-up of the Procurement orchestration platform serving as the “front door” for all Procurement requests
- Establish the global Tail & Tactical Spend operating model, governance controls, and standardized workflows
- Improve cycle time, buying-channel compliance, productivity, and end-user experience
Procurement Analytics & Productivity
- Own the analytics strategy, KPI framework, dashboards, and performance reporting
- Lead the design and implementation of AI- and ML-enabled algorithms to drive Bill of Materials productivity through optimization of parameters such as forecast, cost, batch size, and lead time
- Provide analytics leadership and decision support for key priorities including Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing
Resilience and Supplier Risk & Management
- Lead the Central Resilience capability and global supplier risk analytics framework
- Develop standardized processes for supplier risk identification, monitoring, and escalation
- Build and maintain a Business Continuity Planning (BCP) repository, governance model, and reporting framework across the supply base
Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Reduce process complexity and manual effort through workflow optimization, automation, and data-driven improvements
- Champion user-centric design, transparency, and operational discipline across Procurement processes
Collaboration & Change Leadership
- Embed new ways of working through structured change management and capability-building initiatives
- Bring outside-in best practices, digital innovation, and market intelligence to continuously strengthen Procurement operations
People Leadership
- Lead, inspire and energise the Procurement Transformation team through coaching and mentorship, fostering high performance, strong engagement, and a collaborative, open and supportive team culture.
- Set clear strategic direction aligned to Procurement and business priorities, defining clear KPIs and targets and driving continuous performance improvement.
- Build future-ready capability by attracting, developing and retaining talent, and strengthening critical skills and organizational capacity.
- Drive strong and effective collaboration between the team itself spread across the globe and with their global stakeholders
Do you have what it takes?
- Min 15+ years of progressive management experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain/ Planning, in international organizations with global leadership experience.
- Proven track record delivering digital enablement, analytics, or transformation programs
- Strong experience leading systems/process optimization and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement analytics, productivity measurement, or savings delivery
- Prior leadership of risk, resilience, or business continuity initiatives
- Ability to influence in a matrix environment and lead cross-functional global teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Possess the vision to anticipate changes in industry and translate potential changes to strategies to position TLG for success; have ability to establish and execute strategies that support company objectives.
- Ability to travel globally as & when required.
Nice to have:
- Experience with ORO or orchestration platforms or Tail/Tactical spend Management systems
- Exposure to ML-based analytics or advanced savings modelling
- Certification in Procurement / Data / Project Management
- Strong understanding of and experience in working with/ navigating various value chains and supply networks.
