Intermediate Behavioral Health Case Manager Location: This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. The Intermediate Behavioral Health Case Manager is responsible for providing telephonic case management to members with behavioral health and substance use disorder needs. This role requires expertise in areas such as Depression, Anxiety, Eating Disorders, Maternity, Alcohol/Drug issues, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Key Responsibilities: Handle complex case scenarios and specific account requests. Utilize screening criteria and clinical judgment to assess member needs effectively. Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans to address objectives. Monitor and evaluate the impact of care plans and adjust strategies as necessary. Facilitate member access to high-quality, cost-effective care. Coordinate with various internal and external resources to fulfill member needs and collaborate with healthcare providers. Act as a resource for other Behavioral Health Case Managers. Engage in cross-functional team projects and initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field, or a degree in Nursing, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a related area. Current active unrestricted licensure such as RN, LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or Clinical Psychologist as permitted by state regulations. Prior experience in case management, coaching members on complex psychiatric or substance-related challenges. Managed care experience is essential. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: Experience with health coaching and motivational interviewing techniques. Excellent multitasking abilities in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Strong communication and organizational skills.
