Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: To provide physical therapy services to outpatient rehabilitation in compliance with policies and procedures established by the Medical Center and/or the Rehabilitation Services Department. Details: Essential Functions: Meets Health System's Guiding Behaviors and Caring Standards including interpersonal communication and professional conduct expectations. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to competently care for all assigned age groups (Neonate, Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric as applicable). Revenue Management Ensure the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to the patients. Provides direct and indirect supervision of PTA, PT aides and volunteers. Performs initial evaluation, develops and implements treatment plan based upon individual needs of each patient. Completes required documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Provides quality patient care in conjunction with educational training of the patient, family members and other supportive personnel. Skills, Knowledge, Education and Experience: Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist. B.S. degree or higher in Physical Therapy. American Heart Association Basic Life Support for HealthCare Provider (BLS/HCP) certification required. One year as a registered physical therapist in an acute care facility and program development preferred. Ability to work independently. Interpersonal communication skills in a team or interdisciplinary work situation.
