Temporary Clinical Scoring Specialist The Pearson Clinical Field Research team plays a vital role in collecting research data to support the development of cutting-edge products within the Pearson Clinical business. We collaborate with Psychologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and other professionals to assist in identifying candidates, administering assessments, and returning results to Pearson. In this project-based position, you will apply established scoring rules to evaluate clinical test results with accuracy and consistency. This opportunity offers flexible remote work , with the possibility of occasional on-site requirements. Key Responsibilities Complete a mandatory week-long training session with the Content team to master the scoring procedures and guidelines. Evaluate and score test responses following established rules and criteria. Accurately document scores in the designated database, ensuring data integrity across all systems. Utilize spreadsheets to track and identify tests ready for scoring. Adhere to assigned deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency in scoring. Report any discrepancies, uncertainties, or technical issues to your team lead or supervisor. Uphold confidentiality and manage all test materials in compliance with data security protocols. Qualifications & Requirements Exceptional attention to detail and strong ability to apply scoring rules consistently. Excellent organizational skills and proficiency in managing repetitive tasks efficiently. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with databases or online scoring platforms. Familiarity with PDF editing tools such as Adobe Acrobat for reviewing and annotating digital test materials. Strong written communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions meticulously. Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free remote work environment. Availability to complete the mandatory training session and commit to the full duration of the project. Previous experience in test scoring, data entry, or educational assessment is a plus. A background or coursework in Speech-Language Pathology or related fields is recommended but not required. Education Required Bachelor's degree (or higher) preferred in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related discipline . The pay rate for this position ranges from $20 - $22 per hour.
