Position Overview: As a Service Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of both the dining area and kitchen. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining the interior and exterior cleanliness of the restaurant. Washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to meet high standards. Clearing and cleaning tables efficiently. Transporting dirty dishes to the dish room and delivering clean dishware back to service areas. Organizing and cleaning both the front and back of the house, including restrooms and the parking lot. Performing deep cleaning tasks as needed to maintain our restaurant’s environment. Rotating stock to ensure freshness. Collaborating with fellow team members to enhance service quality. Key Responsibilities: Ensure dining room tables are always clean and sanitized. Maintain an adequate supply of clean dishes, pots, and utensils during your shift. Keep the restaurant fronts and backs organized and stocked for timely service. Ensure the restaurant exterior is neat and tidy. Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Flexible scheduling and reliable attendance. Team-focused mindset. Comfortable performing physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting. Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments. A keen eye for cleanliness and adherence to health standards. Ability to meet any local health regulations related to food handling. Compensation: Pay ranges from $19.97 to $25.00 hourly, plus tips based on attendance, performance, and sales. This is a part-time position without benefits. Additional Requirements: You will be able to obtain a valid food handler's card as part of your training. Note: This job is with an independently owned and operated franchisee of Denny's.
