Role Overview This position is fully remote and focuses on ensuring substitute effectiveness and promoting student success. You will engage in hiring, onboarding, professional development, and daily supervision of staff while managing customer relationships and departmental projects. Key Responsibilities Conduct interviews, hire, train, and supervise a remote team of substitute teachers. Monitor and intervene in instances of low student participation or performance. Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement effective policies and procedures. Maintain communication with school leaders to ensure program policies are adhered to by staff. Provide regular performance evaluations with constructive feedback. Foster professionalism and high-quality service among staff. Hold regular meetings with staff to discuss compliance, collaboration, and support. Guide staff in understanding certification and professional development requirements. Assist in implementing program changes and new software tools. Organize and conduct training sessions as needed. Support the Leadership Team with documentation and assignments. Build strong relationships between the Teaching Services team and the schools served. Embody and promote the company values. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements At least 3 years of teaching experience (virtual teaching experience preferred). Experience supervising substitutes or managing staff in an academic setting is preferred. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred. A valid teaching credential in any state is required. Strong leadership skills and a commitment to student performance outcomes. Ability to analyze and interpret data related to performance. Proficiency in presenting to both small and large groups. Technologically adept, especially with Microsoft Office and Google Apps. A customer-focused mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Innovative problem solver with the agility to adjust priorities as needed. Proven ability to manage various projects successfully in a dynamic environment. A team player with a strong ability to collaborate and delegate effectively.
