Company: enGen Job Description: JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced Epic Systems Analyst to join our team, focusing on the configuration, rollout, and ongoing support of Epic Orders applications. In this role, you will engage in business and systems analysis, define and document requirements, design systems, and troubleshoot issues. Your communication skills will be essential as you collaborate with end-users to identify challenges and implement tailored solutions. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, design, build, test, implement, and support Epic Orders software to meet user needs. Analyze system requirements and specifications, document workflow analysis, and evaluate user experiences. Maintain application documentation and create training materials. Utilize your knowledge of Epic to configure changes that support standardized workflows. Resolve issues, perform routine maintenance, update systems, and introduce new technologies that enhance user functionality. Manage small to medium projects independently, providing timely updates to stakeholders on progress and upcoming tasks. Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis for issues ranging from routine to moderately complex, identifying and documenting effective solutions. EXPERIENCE Required Minimum of 3 years of systems administration experience within one or more Epic modules. Preferred Experience with Orders Transmittal is highly preferred. 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry. SKILLS Ability to perform analysis, design, system configuration, and testing tasks of varying complexity. Strong customer service skills. Effective critical thinking capabilities for task execution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to foster teamwork and collaboration. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Understanding of project management principles as they apply to assigned tasks. EDUCATION Required Associate's degree. Substitutions 2 years of relevant work experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree. Preferred Candidates should be open to pursuing further Epic education in areas such as Bugsy or Orders Transmittal. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, or relevant field is preferred. LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS Required Epic Application Certification within 6 months. Preferred Epic orders certification or accreditation. Language (Other than English): None Travel Requirement: 0% - 25% PHYSICAL, MENTAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS Position Type: Remote Occasional teaching or training of others.
