Description Department: MHC Onc Outpatient Infusion Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $33.61 - $52.10 / hour. Pay is based on relevant experience This is an onsite position at UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hosp Central in Colorado Springs and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary : As an Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse, you will deliver exceptional patient care in an outpatient infusion setting, employing the nursing process in accordance with established standards and the organization's policies and values. Responsibilities : Plan, implement, and evaluate infusion-related patient care based on thorough assessments to achieve optimal outcomes and use resources efficiently. Monitor and document patient conditions, communicating effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate care, including transfers, discharges, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial needs. Assess learning needs of patients and families, providing tailored education based on age, culture, conditions, and situations. Delegate patient care effectively to ancillary staff. Mentor and guide student nurses and new hires. In this role, you will utilize critical thinking and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment while working with minimal supervision. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Certification: ONS certification required within 6 months for new hires and 1 year for new graduates. At least 6 months of nursing (RN) experience. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, valid before the start date and must remain valid for 60 days post-hire.
