Collaborate closely with underwriters to examine existing processes and tools, identifying avenues for financial efficiency, risk mitigation, and swift quote/renewal turnaround times. Conduct detailed analyses to determine the financial implications of recommended process changes or tool enhancements, ensuring data-driven insights. Engage actively in project meetings concerning underwriting system upgrades, financial modeling tool development, and initiatives focused on operational efficiency, representing the underwriting perspective effectively. Support underwriting workloads by calculating rates using company rating algorithms, making adjustments as necessary to address atypical claim patterns or scenarios not covered by the standard formula. EXPERIENCE Required MUST BE A US CITIZEN 3 - 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Business Process Analyst role or related operational experience (e.g., claims, billing, customer service, etc.) Preferred Experience in a financial analysis, underwriting support, or actuarial support role is desirable, along with a strong understanding of financial concepts, risk assessment, and insurance product lifecycles.
