This position works alongside other Welcome Desk staff in providing real-time support to students and community members through response to inquiries for general information and resources and serves students and community members through in-person desks, phone, and virtual formats. This position will also assist with new student admission and onboarding. Primary responsibilities include the following: Provide direct support to students and community members through staffing of Welcome Desks, phone, and virtual contact options. Maintain working knowledge of campus structure and policies, department contacts, and changes across campus. Identify and propose improvements to campus/departmental contacts. Support Enrollment Navigator with admissions and onboarding: processing applications, outreach to new and returning students, providing information and technical assistance to potential and current students who are enrolling Other duties as assigned We are searching for two CSS2 Welcome Desk positions: one full-time (40 hrs/wk) and one part-time (20 hrs/wk). This position will perform work in a standard office setting, use standard office equipment, and physically attend meetings. Terms Of Employment/Salary: This position is allocated to pay range 41 under the Washington State Office of Financial Management higher education salary schedule (actual pay is 50% of full time salary range). Salary placement for new employees is determined by the College. This position works 20 hours per week, with a schedule dependent upon department needs.
