Become the Nurse Supervisor You've Always Wanted to Be Your meaningful journey includes: Assisting in the development and implementation of personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures. Acting as a key liaison among administration, nursing management, and staff. Overseeing nursing care, treatment, and services during assigned shifts or within a specific unit. Monitoring and managing your staff, providing real-time feedback, evaluations, and handling performance-related counseling and disciplinary actions. Engaging in direct patient care as needed and building strong relationships by understanding each patient's physical, mental, and emotional requirements for successful recovery. Celebrating every patient victory along the way. Qualifications Current RN licensure in accordance with state regulations. BLS certification required; ACLS certification to be completed within one year of starting the position. CRRN certification to be attained within a year of fulfilling eligibility criteria. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred. Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years). Previous leadership role, such as a charge nurse or in a lead capacity, with responsibilities for interim reporting, issue resolution, direction setting, and accountability for patient and staff outcomes.
