Core Responsibilities
Event Strategy and Planning (offline event): Develop and implement event strategies that align with LEGO brand objectives, creating engaging experiences that inspire creativity and play.
Brand Experience and Activation: Design immersive brand experiences that resonate with local consumers, showcasing the brand's unique identity and values.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with LEGO Brand, Trade, and PR Managers to ensure cohesive planning and execution of events, emphasizing LEGO brand consistency.
Budget Management: Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution while improving ROI and supporting the brand-building initiatives.
Agency and Partner Management: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with agencies and partners to deliver high-quality consumer events that amplify brand presence.
Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyze event outcomes, focusing on LEGO's brand impact, and provide detailed reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all events align with LEGO brand guideline, local regulations and manage potential risks effectively, maintaining the brand's integrity.

LEGO Japan Marketing team is crucial for growing the brand in the APAC region. It includes Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing, Trade Marketing, and PR & Events, all working together under the Marketing Director. The main goal is to build strong LEGO brand presence and perception to attract kids and adults and expand LEGO brand presence in Japan market, by working with support from regional and global teams.
The Event Manager plays an important role in this team by organizing exciting events that boost brand awareness and drive sales. By working closely with different marketing areas, the Event Manager ensures that strategies are well-executed and connect with consumers. This role helps strengthen LEGO brand positioning in the market!
Do you have what it takes?
3-5+ Years Experience: In communications, or event planning within the branded consumer goods industry, preferably in categories such as Sports, Fashion, FMCG. Candidates with agency experience are also welcome.
Strong Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Creative and Innovative Thinking: Ability to design engaging and creative event experiences that align with LEGO brand values.
Strong Collaboration and Communication Skills: Capable of working effectively across various internal local and global functions and with external partners with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify challenges and implement effective solutions quickly.
Budget Management Expertise: Experience in managing event budgets and improving return on investment.
Strong Ownership and Can-Do Attitude: Demonstrates responsibility and a proactive approach to challenges.
Intermediate and above Japanese and English skills
