This role involves direct interaction with providers, patients, and team members to address clinical and escalated issues, including drug interactions, therapy regimens, and medication stability. You will be expected to interpret various scenarios and make independent decisions while adhering to established guidelines and departmental procedures. Work Schedule: The Operations Pharmacist department operates Monday-Friday from 8 am to 11 pm EST and Saturday from 8 am to 6:30 pm EST. The permanent schedule includes 1-2 closing shifts (2:30 pm-11 pm EST) weekly, with other shifts ranging from 10 am-6:30 pm EST (11:30 am-8:00 pm EST for certain associates) and rotating Saturday coverage. Remote Work Location: This position is remote, but candidates must reside in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, or Texas. Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound phone calls with patients and providers. Review prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness of therapy. Check for drug interactions and consult resources to aid in decision-making. Required Qualifications: Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution (Bachelor of Science or PharmD). Active pharmacist license from the relevant state pharmacy board. Three or more years of experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals. Strong problem-solving skills with resourcefulness in professional decision-making. Focused work ethic with a commitment to accuracy and productivity. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in computer use and comfort with troubleshooting technology issues. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to provide a hard-wired internet connection and a private workspace. Preferred Qualifications: Fluency in Spanish, if applicable. Board certification in a pharmacy specialty. Experience in a specialty pharmacy environment. Familiarity with pharmacy benefits management. Experience with commercial, Medicare, or Medicaid. Background in clinical managed care. Additional Information: This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in one of the specified states. The schedule includes evening and weekend shifts, with holidays rotated based on operational needs. Overtime may be offered based on business requirements. Remote work does not relieve responsibilities for the scheduled shifts. Travel: Occasional travel to training or meetings may be required. Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: The salary range for this role is $115,200 - $158,400 per year, depending on location and experience. This position is also eligible for a bonus incentive based on performance.
