As a PCT, you will work directly under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN), playing an essential role in delivering compassionate care to those with renal failure. Your Key Responsibilities Delivering Patient Care: You will engage with patients to ensure they receive safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatments. This includes monitoring and recording patient stats before and after treatments, initiating and concluding sessions, and collecting blood samples as ordered by physicians. Performing Technician Duties: Ensure excellence in care by preparing and sanitizing dialysis machines, conducting safety checks, and meticulously logging results to uphold quality control while complying with all regulations. Promoting Safety and Quality: Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment. Collaborate closely with Charge Nurses to follow company policies and state/federal regulations. Your commitment to continuous learning will involve participating in staff meetings and educational opportunities. The Dialysis Patient Care position is located at our Boynton Beach Clinic, situated at 1500 Gateway Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33426. What We Seek High school diploma or equivalent. A genuine desire to work in healthcare and support patients. Previous experience in healthcare, particularly in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA, is advantageous. Comfort with mixing acids and bicarbonate as per protocols. Ability to distinguish all primary colors. Essential Requirements Successful completion of the USRC training program, including demonstrated competency within 8 weeks of hire. CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Patient Care Technician certification is required within 18 months of hiring from an approved state or national program and must remain in good standing. Ready to Make an Impact?
