Job Summary: Oversee the planning, organization, delegation, direction, negotiation, and evaluation of services delivered by Adult Critical Care departments in line with hospital objectives. Collaborate effectively with other department leaders to ensure exceptional nursing care based on recognized standards and policies. Facilitate effective communication among teams. Develop and recommend policies and procedures to enhance patient care quality, safety, and efficiency in collaboration with medical staff and other disciplines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing required; advanced degree preferred. Five years of progressive management experience in a hospital setting with a focus on leadership, payroll, budget development, business planning, and fostering physician relationships. Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in Texas or a compact license. Current BLS provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Current ACLS provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross. CCRN and/or CNRN certification preferred.
