Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Memorial Hospital North, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department: SRSS Clinical Education Work Schedule: Part Time, 48.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $40.86 - $63.33/hour. Pay is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary: We are seeking a passionate Nursing Clinical Educator to enhance the orientation, continuing education, and professional development of our clinical staff. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with managers and staff to evaluate the learning needs and competencies of clinical personnel. Design and implement engaging learning activities and curricula focused on clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, and regulatory standards. Serve as a mentor and consultant, guiding staff in program development, clinical practices, and advancing professional growth. Contribute to the development and facilitation of new staff orientation and ongoing educational initiatives. Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment in day-to-day operations while maintaining minimal supervision. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is preferred. Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; charge nurse experience is a plus. BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross must be obtained before the start date, with a valid card maintained for at least sixty days post-hire.
