Join Our Team as a Certified Nursing Aide! Responsibilities: Deliver exemplary patient care under the guidance of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. Support patients with essential daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. Measure and log vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse accurately. Assist patients with mobility and safe transfers. Observe and promptly report any changes in a patient's condition to the nursing staff. Support medical procedures like phlebotomy and specimen collection. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patient care. Accurately document all patient care activities using electronic medical records systems, including Cerner. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a nursing assistant training program or equivalent experience. Current nursing assistant certification (CNA) in the state of employment. Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical procedures. Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely. Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of home care or senior care practices is a plus. Skills: Knowledge and experience in assisting with spinal tap procedures. Familiarity with providing care in a home setting. Proficiency in using electronic medical records like Cerner. Ability to document patient care activities accurately. Experience working in a hospital environment. Commitment to delivering excellent patient service. Capability to assess patients' physical and emotional health. Understanding the unique needs of elderly patients. Knowledge of primary care practices and procedures.
