Greet customers warmly, answer their questions, and recommend products to enhance their shopping experience. Ensure all produce items are cut, packaged, and stocked according to company standards. Create beautiful fruit and vegetable platters/trays. Engage customers by offering product samples and informing them of current produce specials. Regularly inspect products for quality and freshness, taking appropriate actions when necessary. Assist customers in finding the products they want and need. Lift items weighing up to 30 pounds regularly. Stay informed about current, seasonal, and promotional ads. Help manage departmental expenses effectively. Monitor inventory conditions and report discrepancies. Maintain proper temperatures in coolers and cases, keeping accurate temperature logs. Promote safety by adhering to safety procedures and reporting any unsafe conditions. Conduct preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying management of any repair needs. Report safety risks, accidents, and incidents of theft or fraud promptly. Work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment. Handle conflicts calmly and respectfully. Maintain integrity and confidentiality regarding customer and business information. Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary. Provide support to customers of all ages, including minors and individuals with special needs. Perform all essential duties of the position effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications Minimum Must be at least 18 years old. Strong communication skills. Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction). Able to manage stressful situations.
