Job Summary and Qualifications As a Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role within our collaborative nursing care team, delivering hands-on support and helping create a safe, welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting patients with preparation, mobility, transfers, and ensuring comfort to facilitate smooth procedures and recovery. Providing supportive care including dressing changes and skin protection while utilizing supportive devices. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Managing supplies, equipment, and maintaining environmental logs to safeguard patients through effective infection control. Communicating compassionately with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality initiatives. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
