Overview: Skilled and Assisted Living Position Summary As a Certified Nursing Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the dignity, independence, and quality of life for our residents. You will assist them with daily activities, offer medication reminders, and facilitate their social and spiritual engagement. Your compassionate care will contribute to monitoring their physical and cognitive health. Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities Provide support for daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication reminders following individual care plans and community standards. Assist with lifting, turning, transferring, and positioning residents safely and respectfully. Support mealtime services by setting up, cleaning up, delivering meal trays, and offering feeding assistance while documenting meal intake. Monitor residents’ physical and mental wellbeing, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse. Deliver nutritional supplements at scheduled times, ensuring residents receive the dietary support they need. Engage residents in life enrichment programs and contribute to meaningful activities that enhance their experience. Document care accurately and promptly to ensure seamless communication within the care team. Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned to enhance resident care. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and updates in compliance with regulations. Position Requirements Education: High School Diploma/GED Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Certification may be required based on state regulations. Experience: 1 years of experience—paid or volunteer—working with seniors is preferred. Skills & Abilities: Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion when working with the elderly.
