Make a Difference in Patients' Lives As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at US Renal Care, you will play a crucial role in a dedicated team providing essential care for patients with renal failure. Collaborating with our Registered Nurses (RNs) and Charge Nurses (CNs), you'll support treatment and ensure high-quality patient experiences. Your Responsibilities: Patient Care: Deliver safe, comfortable, and efficient dialysis treatment to patients. Your duties will include: Gathering patient stats before and after treatment Initiating and monitoring treatment Terminating treatment and collecting blood samples as directed by physicians Technician Duties: Ensure the highest standards of quality by: Preparing and sanitizing machines for hemodialysis Conducting thorough machine safety checks and logging results for quality control Adhering to regulations and protocols at all times Safety and Quality: Utilize personal protective equipment and comply with all safety measures under the guidance of the Charge Nurse while participating in meetings and continuing education. This position is based at our Boynton Beach Clinic, located at 1500 Gateway Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33426. What We're Seeking: High school diploma or equivalent A strong passion for healthcare and patient care Previous experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is advantageous Comfort with mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocols Ability to distinguish all primary colors Additional Requirements: Complete USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, demonstrating competency within 8 weeks of hire CPR certification required within 90 days of hire, as per state regulations Acquire and maintain Patient Care Technician certification through state or nationally recognized programs within 18 months of hire Ready to Make an Impact?
