Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCandidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary finance contact for assigned IT departments, providing dedicated support for their financial planning, spend analysis, and operational queries
- Partner closely with the Accounting team to ensure accurate month-end accruals and reclassifications; deliver monthly executive summaries that link financial variances to specific business strategies and departmental milestones
- Develop frameworks to assign numerical and financial values to essential business functions, allowing leadership to assess and compare IT performance and cost-efficiency over time
- Create sophisticated financial presentations for upper management that go beyond the "what" to explain the "why," offering data-driven recommendations to drive operational efficiency
- Continuously refine reporting capabilities and dashboards to monitor performance and identify untapped opportunities for cost savings or resource reallocation
- Support the annual planning and monthly forecasting cycles for assigned departments, ensuring alignment with the overarching IT roadmap
Skills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and Experience:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- MBA or MS-Finance is a plus
- 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting. Experience within an IT environment or a strong understanding of IT cost drivers (Cloud, Infrastructure, Software) is preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
- A rational, curious mindset with outstanding problem-solving skills and a meticulous eye for detail
- Ability to quickly grasp the IT business model and align financial reporting with company-wide goals
- Advanced MS Excel skills (complex modeling, Power Query) and experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion, or OneStream)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to summarize complex financial concepts into easy-to-follow materials for senior executives

Salary RangesCompensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
