Gastroenterology Locums - Flexible Schedule in Virginia Practice Setting Hospital Call and Office/Clinic settings Focus on Adult, Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine Lab and X-Ray services available onsite No trauma designation at the facility Schedule Part-Time or PRN Coverage is available Block Scheduling available - work multiple consecutive shifts Choose dates that work with your schedule; weekend shifts still open Immediate need for a short-term assignment Procedures and Cases High-acuity procedural mix with 8 cases per week average Required experience in ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) Procedures include Lower GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy, and Sigmoidoscopy Preferred experience in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Involvement in GSI, Hepatology, and RGA cases Requirements Board Certified (REQUIRED) Active Virginia State Medical License (REQUIRED) Clean Malpractice history required for temporary privileges Must be available to cover open shifts to be considered Mandatory Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation Credentialing Requirements Estimated Credentialing Turnaround of 90 days
