An independent, non-profit, community-based hospital, designated as a Critical Access Hospital in central Maine, is adding a Radiologist. The hospital serves a broad rural region of Somerset County and provides 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient care, and a network of specialty and primary care physicians close to home. About the Opportunity: Joining 1 employed Radiologist and currently 2 contracted Radiologists Must be comfortable reading all diagnostic modalities, including mammography, and perform basic interventional radiology (arthrograms, breast biopsies) The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some flexibility Can do some hybrid remote No nights, weekends, or holidays Expect to read 70-90 cases daily Fuji PACS - RIS System Powerscribe Dictation All equipment is digital and up-to-date Employed position with a high base salary and a full benefits package Community/Location: Located along the Kennebec River in the rolling hills of southern Somerset County Recreational areas include white-water rafting, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and trout fishing.
