Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse (CN), you will play a key role in treatment activities that genuinely improve our patients’ lives. Your Key Responsibilities: Patient Engagement: Collaborate closely with patients to ensure safe, comfortable, and effective dialysis treatments. Responsibilities include taking patient vitals pre- and post-treatment, initiating and monitoring treatment, concluding sessions, and collecting blood samples as per physician orders. Technical Responsibilities: Maintain high standards of care by preparing dialysis machines, disinfecting equipment after use, performing safety checks, and keeping meticulous logs for quality control, while strictly following protocols and regulations. Safety First: Apply necessary safety measures, including personal protective equipment. You will adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations while actively participating in staff meetings and ongoing educational opportunities. Your Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. A genuine passion for supporting patients in a healthcare environment. Previous experience in healthcare settings, especially in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), is desired. Ability to handle medical solutions, including proper mixing of acids and bicarbonates as required. Able to distinguish between all primary colors. Additional Requirements: Completion of the USRC training program, sanctioned by the Medical Director, achieving demonstrated competency within 8 weeks of hire. CPR certification is necessary within 90 days of hire or according to state regulations. Must acquire Patient Care Technician certification through an appropriate state or recognized national certification program within 18 months of hire and maintain good standing.
