We are seeking a passionate Trainer and Coach for Family Peer Support to join our Maine Center of Excellence team. In this role, your personal experience combined with professional expertise will contribute to significant statewide impacts. You will train, coach, and provide technical assistance to Family Peer Support Specialists and their supervisors throughout Maine, promoting the effective implementation of the PEARLS Parent Peer Support model. This position allows for flexible, primarily remote work with some travel across Maine, enabling you to make a lasting difference for families navigating complex care systems. Key Responsibilities Engage in comprehensive training and coaching related to the PEARLS model and other required training as dictated by the State of Maine and/or PCG. Obtain and maintain PEARLS certification; attend ongoing training to uphold certification status. Complete a train-the-trainer process and participate in an annual National Coach Certification renewal. Facilitate PEARLS training and ongoing professional development for Family Peer Support Specialists and their supervisors. Provide timely responses to requests for technical assistance and consultation. Maintain regular communication, both in person and virtually, with implementing organizations and the implementation team. Keep accurate monthly records of involved Family Peer Support Specialists and supervisors to track participation in the PEARLS model. Utilize diverse adult learning concepts to engage participants of varying needs effectively. Develop collaborative relationships with state and organizational leadership to advance successful implementation efforts. Monitor and evaluate training efficacy using established metrics and apply feedback to enhance skills. Leverage tools and resources from the PEARLS model to provide dedicated coaching support. Safeguard confidentiality and adhere to agency standards regarding family rights and privacy. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Public/Business Administration, Communications, or relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED minimum requirement. Experience Relevant personal experience navigating care systems for a child/youth with behavioral challenges is required, with the ability to share experiences for the benefit of others. A minimum of one year as a Family Peer Support Specialist or similar experience is preferred. Certification Certification will take place during employment. Working Conditions Approximately 50% travel required. Reliable transportation is necessary for travel throughout the State of Maine. This role offers remote working options with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends based on provider and family needs, along with possible overnight travel for training sessions. Compensation: Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies with factors including location, role, skills, and experience level. The expected salary range for this position is $50,600 - $60,900.
