Job Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing compassionate, resident-centered care in our long-term care facility. You will support our residents' daily living activities and healthcare needs under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Your responsibilities will include: Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitoring and recording vital signs and resident behaviors. Supporting residents with mobility and exercises, ensuring their comfort and safety. Creating a positive dining experience, assisting during meals and snacks. Documenting interactions and communicating any changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing staff. Participating in wellness and recreational programs while encouraging residents’ involvement. Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and assisting with housekeeping duties. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age; prior experience in long-term care is a plus. CNA certification required with the state nursing board or enrollment in a training program. Commitment to ongoing education with yearly training requirements. Possession of a valid driver’s license may be required based on specific responsibilities.
