Your Opportunity, Your Team
- The Maintenance Technician II supports QVC, and performs basic tasks and repairs within the fulfillment center including work on conveyors, PIT equipment, and general building maintenance.
Where You'll Work
- This role is onsite and will require you to work from our QVC Florence Fulfillment Center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
- You will report to the Maintenance Area Manager.
What You'll Do
- Perform and facilitate general facility repairs such as electrical, lighting, HVAC, and conveyor systems.
- Perform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment. Identify and correct safety hazards and potential maintenance issues before they become critical.
- Conveyor, Automation, and Sorter Systems – Support and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment. Help with conveyor, automation and sortation system repairs.
- System Installation, Design, Construction and Repair –Assist team leaders and contractors to perform installations of new or replacement equipment.
- Record Keeping – Input and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repair data. Read technical manuals and document changes.
What You'll Bring
- Read and comprehend technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.
- 3–5 years of experience working with mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, sortation equipment, or similar industrial machinery in a fast‑paced production environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of industrial mechanic trade school courses or certifications (electrical, controls, plumbing, welding) or equivalent military technical training.
- Working knowledge of voltage meter and AC/DC.
- Valid driver's license.
- Occasionally be on call or work overtime.
- Can repeatedly lift 50 pounds..
