Job Summary As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will provide essential caregiving and daily living support to residents in long-term care. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and be responsible for: Delivering resident-centered nursing care and assistance with daily activities like bathing, grooming, and dressing. Recording vital signs and providing psychosocial support. Assisting with mobility using appropriate techniques and equipment. Facilitating a positive dining experience for residents and helping with meal preparation. Aiding in wellness and recreational activities to encourage resident participation. Documenting resident interactions and changes in condition, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team. Maintaining cleanliness in resident living areas. Qualifications High school graduate or GED preferred but not required. Minimum age requirement of 16. Previous experience in long-term care preferred. Must obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within four months of hiring; training will be provided. Must complete yearly competency testing and maintain documented continuing education credits. In some cases, may require registration with UAP Registry.
