Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible. A family in Wausau, WI, is seeking a part-time caregiver to providein-home support for their young adult child with special needs. This role is perfect for someone who is patient, kind, dependable, and genuinely enjoys building meaningful connections. Pay: $17.66/hourly Schedule: • Thursday through Saturday and every other Sunday • Part-time (hours are negotiable) Tasks: • Transfers • Meal prep/Feeding • Personal Cares • Mobility • ADL’s (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc) • Assist with medications, when needed • Provide safety and companionship while encouraging activity Qualifications: • Valid Driver's License -or- reliable transportation to and from shifts. • Prior experience working with individuals is desired; however not required • Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment. • Must pass background check.
