Job Overview As an Animal Care Grooming Associate, you will be dedicated to delivering outstanding service to pet parents and ensuring a delightful experience for their pets. You will maintain salon standards, promote pet health, and contribute to a clean, welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Complete PetSmart's professional training and safety certification successfully. Engage with pet parents in-person and over the phone, providing assistance with reservations and inquiries. Manage check-in and check-out procedures, emphasizing customer satisfaction. Provide spa services like baths, nail trims, and more, following strict company standards. Guide pet parents on appropriate health and wellness solutions for their pets. Ensure a safe space for fellow associates, pets, and customers. Act swiftly in case of any sick or injured pets in-store. Promote and sell related merchandise and services to enhance the pet care experience. Uphold high cleanliness standards throughout the store. Assist in various departments when required; additional assignments may be given. Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture. Follow all company policies and procedures diligently. Qualifications Comfortable utilizing computer programs and applications. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds; may need assistance to lift over 100 pounds.
