About the Role Charlie Health is looking for motivated individuals with a Master’s degree in mental health or a related field who have experience facilitating groups. Our goal is to deliver remote, telehealth services to our clients while continually enhancing our programming to ensure the best quality of care. Each clinician has unique interests, expertise, and style, but we expect all team members to be proficient in a variety of therapeutic modalities. Since our clients are coping with serious mental health challenges, they benefit from therapists who are sophisticated and relational. Ideal candidates are dedicated to improving mental health and well-being while practicing self-care to deliver their best every day in addressing the behavioral health crisis. Responsibilities Complete all onboarding requirements within 2 weeks of the start date. Meet with your assigned Group Quality Supervisor or Group Quality Director a minimum of once per month for required check-ins. Promptly respond to all email and Slack communications (within 48 hours of receipt). Review the curriculum aligned with your group assignment prior to the start time of the group. Arrive approximately 10 minutes early to scheduled group times and facilitate all sessions for the full hour. Conduct groups according to Charlie Health best practices and utilize the most up-to-date curriculum. Facilitate groups across various age groups and cohorts, including curriculums for Integrative, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour as needed. Encourage client participation and foster a sense of group cohesion, promoting a culture of engagement and camera use. Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as per Charlie Health standards. Participate in collaborative Treatment Team meetings and Group Supervision sessions with your leadership team and peers. Collaborate respectfully with the care team, including Primary Therapists and Care Coaches. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, families, agencies, and referrals. Ensure that treatment documentation is completed within a 24-hour timeframe in adherence with agency and professional standards. Maintain professional ethics, including the establishment of appropriate boundaries and confidentiality. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Availability during late afternoons and evenings on weekdays (3-8pm MT from Monday to Thursday) and Saturdays to accommodate client schedules. Master's degree in mental health or a related field is required. Experience working with a broad range of ages, including children, teens, young adults, and adult clients. Proficient in various therapeutic modalities and confident in integrating them into your treatment approach (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus). Passionate about group therapy and skilled in leading group sessions. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting. Creative and engaging, particularly in a virtual context. Technical aptitude for conducting effective telehealth sessions. Reliable internet connection when meeting with clients. Familiarity with cloud-based communication software is essential.
