Key Responsibilities: Provide expert podiatric care to residents in long-term and senior care environments. Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a variety of foot and lower limb conditions. Deliver proactive care for high-risk patients, focusing particularly on diabetic foot management. Educate patients and their caregivers on best practices for foot health and mobility. Collaborate with facility staff to achieve optimal, patient-centered outcomes. Engage in Medicare quality initiatives to uphold exceptional standards of care. Qualifications: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree (required). Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure. Experience in long-term care/nursing home settings is preferred but not mandatory. BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is a plus. Able to excel in independent, fast-paced environments. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 15 lbs. as needed. Compensation Structure: Your compensation is based on the percentage of revenue you generate, allowing for higher earning potential as your caseload expands.
