Job Description Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Software Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers in the development and delivery of innovative healthcare technology solutions. This role combines technical leadership with people management, focusing on fostering a high-performing team and ensuring the successful execution of product roadmaps. Job Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and robust software applications in a healthcare environment. Work closely with product management, UX/UI, and other stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions. Drive technical excellence, ensuring adherence to coding standards, architectural best practices, and security guidelines. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and career development planning for team members. Actively participate in the hiring, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent. Contribute to the strategic planning and technical roadmap for the engineering organization. Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and impediments to project progress. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. 10 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in architecting and building complex applications. 5 years of experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring software engineering teams. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Expertise in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Ruby, Python, JavaScript) and associated frameworks. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture. Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Experience in the healthcare technology industry is a plus, but not required.
