The eCommerce Senior Associate - Electronics supports QVC. This role is responsible for independently maintaining priority calendar, assigned brands, categories, generic promotions, and events for the Electronics division. Additionally, the Senior Associate must understand the influence of the marketing channels on this category.
The eCommerce team brings the joy of product discovery on TV to digital. Provide fun, addictive & social digital experience that inspires & informs her through product discovery and compelling content.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, DE, or NJ. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
What You'll Do
- Work with the Sr. Manager to create category projections and achieve the Digital and Category off-air sales plan.
- Develop content strategy for the category, brand, and products including TSV/BIG/Key items
- Utilize sales and metrics to create Digital experience, identify new and innovative selling methods.
- Lead category initiatives including events, prepare and present in brand/category Strategy meetings.
- Identify new and innovative selling methods while learning and applying platform and category best practices.
- Partner with planning and merchandising to drive the off-air business, leverage extended assortment product to drive additional revenue.
- Review and approve product content (digital images, copy, etc.) to meet the strategy, generating recaps and reporting to guide future strategies.
- Collaborate with Merchandising and planning to strategize driving items, brands, categories and eCommerce strategies to meet sales goals.
- Partner with Analytics team to identify gaps and/or areas of opportunity for improving performance across platforms based on metrics.
- Analyze brand and category trends within the division to inform platform performance to internal business partners.
- Use data-driven insights from Qualtrics, Adobe Analytics, Microstrategy, Tableau, and established customer segments to develop initiatives that provide a more relevant shopping
- Work with vendors and guests to develop category/brand appropriate recommendations for the eCommerce strategy (i.e. content, customer marketing initiatives, email campaigns, photos, etc.).
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in merchandising/marketing/eCommerce sales or equivalent business experience.
- 3 plus years' experience in an eCommerce environment, or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
- Understanding of hard goods retail space – specifically Electronics is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Tableau, Quantum Metrics, Adobe Analytics & Microstrategy is preferred.
