Facility: Bemidji Main Clinic Location: Bemidji, MN Address: 1233 34th St NW, Bemidji, MN 56601, USA Shift: Varies Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $19.50 - $29.00 Job Summary As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play an essential role in preparing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include: Measuring, mixing, counting, labeling, and recording amounts and dosages of medications based on prescription orders. Assisting pharmacists in compounding, preparing, and dispensing medical prescriptions to patients. Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for medications and ensuring equipment functionality. Controlling inventory levels and assisting with billing-related functions. Participating in departmental quality assurance and helping create a safe working environment in adherence to laws and regulations. Utilizing various computer programs and learning new technology as the pharmacy profession evolves. On-the-job training will be provided to help you succeed in this role. Your duties may vary depending on the work environment. Qualifications Applicants must meet the following criteria: High School graduate or General Education Diploma (GED) is required. You must be at least 18 years old and have active/current pharmacy technician registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy. New registrants are required to complete a Sanford-approved pharmacy technician training program within 12 months of registration.
