Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care across multiple acute care units as a float nurse Perform comprehensive patient assessments and individualized care planning Administer medications and treatments per clinical protocols Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions Support patient safety, quality, and evidence-based practice Participate in quality improvement and shared governance activities Serve as a resource and support nurse across assigned units Respond effectively to changing patient conditions and emergencies Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact) BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) Strong acute care clinical skills Ability to float across multiple acute care units Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment Accurate clinical documentation / EMR skills Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies Strong patient assessment and triage skills Effective interdisciplinary teamwork Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire): Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact) BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct Ability to work night shift (for this specific role) Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry , and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
