Assistant/Senior Assistant Director of Admission Operations The Assistant or Senior Assistant Director of Admission of Admission Operations is an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative member of a dynamic team in a complex university environment. This role is crucial in supporting Miami University's commitment to recruiting, admitting, enrolling, and supporting the retention and graduation of students from Ohio, across the US, and around the globe. The Assistant or Senior Assistant Director of Admission Operations will have responsibility for operations, processing, systems, and communication functions within a complex and deadline-driven office which directly supports the University's recruitment, application, admission, and enrollment processes. This staff member will also have primary responsibility for student search activities, including data sharing, reporting and analysis, and providing recommendations to optimize student search. Working with and reporting to the Director of Admission Operations, the assistant or senior assistant director will serve as a collaborative problem-solver and responsive, thoughtful "doer" in the office, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of admission communications and events, integrity of prospective student and applicant data, and development and analysis of operational processes to ensure efficiency and strategic planning. In addition, all positions are responsible for understanding and upholding Miami's Code of Love and Honor in the way we serve our students and partners in their success. This campus-based, full-time position is located in Oxford, Ohio. This position is approved for remote work on a hybrid basis. Essential Duties Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all recruitment, procedural and ad-hoc emails, text messages, and mailings to prospective students and applicants. Maintain and improve applications, forms, checklists, review processes, decision releases, status pages, and confirmation processes for recruitment, admission, and special programs; create and manage on- and off- campus event registration websites, forms, reporting, check-ins, and surveys; increase prospective student engagement and recruitment efficiency through data analysis and the development of CRM strategies. Primary responsibility for managing student search, collaborating directly with campus and external partners to share data, track and monitor KPIs, and ensure all deadlines and campaign goals are met. Create and maintain accurate data and thorough reporting to support analysis of various lead source performance, and support director's recommendations to optimize search spend and communication efforts. Maintain a close partnership with Enrollment Marketing and Communication; prepare, maintain, and monitor automated prospective student communications and collaborate with divisional partners on comm flow deployment and media integration into applicant status pages. Support prospective student processing for millions of records annually; support the recruitment/admission information system and research and leverage existing functionality and future enhancements to ensure maximum effectiveness and utilization. Collaborate with other administrative and academic offices, committees, and individuals in the development, implementation, delivery, and oversight of procedures and practices as they relate to recruitment, admission operations, and admission data integrity. Minimum Qualifications Assistant Director Position: Bachelor's degree. Two years of full-time, professional experience working in higher education, admission, operations, marketing/sales, or a related field. Senior Assistant Director Position: Bachelor's degree. Three years of full-time, professional experience working in higher education, admission, operations, marketing/sales, or a related field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience utilizing/managing operations and/or systems-related functions. Ability to compile, analyze, summarize, and communicate data and reports. Experience working with relational databases, writing reports and/or queries using various tools. Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. High level of organization and self-starting skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree.
