A contracted physical therapy position is available in Aurora, Illinois, offering a part-time schedule of 2 days per week, totaling 14 hours. This role supports a school setting, providing PT services to a caseload of approximately 20 students, with a mix of in-person and a few homebound learners. There is potential for this contract to be extended into the summer months. Key Responsibilities: Deliver physical therapy services tailored to the needs of school-aged children across a caseload of about 20 students. Provide direct therapy interventions both in-person and for homebound students. Collaborate with educators and support staff to optimize student progress. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs). Desired Qualifications and Experience: Valid Physical Therapy licensure appropriate for the state of Illinois. Experience providing pediatric physical therapy services, preferably in a school setting. Ability to manage a moderate caseload with efficiency and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for interactions with students, families, and school personnel. Flexibility to accommodate students with diverse needs and service delivery environments.
