School Psychologist - Full Time | On-Site | K-12 | Location: Fort Myers, FL Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week Modality: On-Site (Hybrid considered secondary; No virtual option) Start Date: Estimated 2/17/2026 Contract Length: End of Year (EOY) / Extended School Year (ESY) About the Role The School District is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services for students across K-12 settings. This position plays a critical role in supporting students' mental health, developmental needs, and eligibility for specialized services. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite psychological services for K-12 students Conduct assessments to determine student eligibility for additional support services Collaborate with school teams, administrators, parents, and service providers Support students navigating mental health and developmental challenges Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Serve 2-3 schools (caseload varies) Participate in evaluation clinics during select holiday breaks (optional paid hours) Minimum Requirements Florida DOE School Psychologist License Master's degree in psychology preferred Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations preferred Must meet all state, federal, and district compliance requirements CPR certification (if applicable) TB test, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable) Current health certificate (as required) Must be at least 18 years of age Work Environment Serve multiple schools within the district K-12 student population 40-hour work week In-person primary; hybrid may be considered District holds evaluation clinics during holiday breaks for additional optional work Interview Process Submit: Resume, interview availability, experience summary, earliest start date, requested time off Virtual interview with the district Feedback typically provided within 24-48 hours Why Work With This District?
