Job Summary and Qualifications Under the supervision of the Nursing Director or Supervisor, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for postpartum mother-baby pairs and other assigned clinical tasks. The RN will manage patient care based on established clinical practices and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. It is essential for the RN to consider the developmental stages and cultural backgrounds of patients in their care planning. The RN also plays a vital role in improving nursing care through collaborative efforts that produce positive patient outcomes. This position may involve direct supervision of students, ensuring they receive the proper guidance needed throughout their shifts. Qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment. Neonate Resuscitation certification required within 30 days of employment.
