As a Licensed Vocational Nurse on the UCLA Health Ambulatory Float Team, you will travel to various ambulatory clinics to provide administrative and patient care support to a diverse population. We are looking for highly flexible, enthusiastic and proactive individuals with the ability to travel to Central Coast UCLA Community practices throughout the greater Southern California area. As a per diem employee, you must provide your availability at least one month in advance. The minimum requirement is 2 shifts, totaling 16 hours per week, Monday through Friday, including one full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per month. Days and hours may vary depending on assignments. Salary range: $41.37 - $41.37 Hourly Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Required: Possession of an active license issued by the State of CA Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners with Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Certification and BLS card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Knowledge of all instruments and supplies to perform physical examinations and procedures Ability to take vital signs, administer medications, and obtain drug refills Experience performing phlebotomy, 12-lead EKGs, CPR, injections, and other skills within scope of practice Ability to be highly flexible, travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health community based practices and work a variable schedule Highly desired: Minimum of six months of working experience as a LVN in a healthcare setting As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
