Financial Analyst Location 5775 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN, 55437, United States Base Pay $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 / Year Job Category UMS-FIA Employee Type Full Time Exempt Required Degree 4 Year Degree Description Financial Analyst - Bloomington, MN The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Controller. In this role, he/she will be responsible for key financial analysis including sales reporting, commission calculations, customer trends, and variance analysis. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the finance team, sales leadership, and operations to provide accurate and timely reporting that supports business decision-making. This position requires duties that are performed independently while managing multiple priorities. This position is onsite in Bloomington, MN. We are not considering remote candidates at this time. Primary Responsibilities: Provide financial analysis including sales reporting, customer trends, sales volume analysis, and variance analysis Calculate, review, and analyze monthly sales commissions and provide reporting to operations and sales leadership Support sales territory and revenue reporting to ensure accurate alignment with commission structures Maintain fixed asset records in MS Dynamics GP, including asset setup, depreciation tracking, and asset maintenance Coordinate with operations teams on the setup of new equipment assets such as trucks and lasers entering service Assist the Controller with accounts payable support and accounting-related inquiries Perform bank reconciliations and support cash transaction reviews as needed Assist with sales tax and property tax support as needed Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business needs Assist with preparation of documentation and schedules for annual external audits Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial reporting and analysis Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years of relevant experience; MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains) experience strongly preferred Strong initiative and analytical skills required Strong Microsoft Excel skills required Effective communication and problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred pm25 Additional Information Recruiting City/State Location Bloomington, MN Compensation details: 0 Yearly Salary PIf34aaac31bc4-6231
