Monitor Technician – Nights Location: Phoenix, AZ 85013 Shift: 12-hour Nights (1900–0730) Duration: 13 Weeks (starting April 14, 2026) Positions Available: 2 About the Role The Virtual Monitor Technician plays a critical role in patient safety by conducting onsite remote surveillance of cardio-pulmonary rhythms for multiple hospital locations from the Phoenix-based Clinical Command Center. Each technician monitors up to 60 patients using advanced GE and Ascom technology, ensuring timely recognition and reporting of dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias. This is a non-remote, onsite position in Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities Perform continuous cardiac rhythm surveillance from a centralized monitoring station. Accurately recognize and document cardiac rhythms, including lethal arrhythmias. Notify local RN staff promptly of rhythm changes per established protocols. Follow proper communication channels for routine and emergency situations. Support patient outcomes and department metrics by adhering to command center policies. Collaborate with Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, and Director as needed. Maintain compliance with strict no-cell-phone policy (hospital provides work phone).
