Continuing Education Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity contingent upon the needs of the department. Classes are offered during daytime, evenings, and weekends as well as some College holidays. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year. Three (3) years work experience in safety related fields, such as working with chemicals or heavy machine, HAZWOPER, safety audits, hazard assessments or safety training. MUST BE OSHA authorized to teach OSHA 10 or 30 Construction approved courses. Preferred Education and Experience: Three (3) years teaching experience. Familiar with DOT regulations. EEO Statement
