Working home telephone is required. GENERAL DEFINITION: This is entry-level work involving assisting school children to cross intersections. Assignments are limited in nature and are carried out to detailed instructions. Incumbent responsibilities include maintaining traffic control; ensuring the safety of children going to and from school. After training, work is performed under the supervision of a Supervisor, Police Lieutenant or Chief of Police.
