Job Description Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Pay: $40-$44/hr, plus shift differential when applicable Shift Openings: 3-11 PM within Skilled Nursing; A 32-hour per week position with every other Monday and Friday off - giving you a 4-day weekend every other week! This position also includes a $3 shift differential 7 AM-3 PM Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; Fridays 3-11 PM with a $3 shift differential; A 32-hour per week position within Skilled Nursing. Primary Responsibilities: • Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift. • Administers direct care as necessary. • Administer prescribed medications to patients. • Make rounds to ensure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment. • Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in residents' condition. • Assists in developing comprehensive care plans. • Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered. • Responds to resident emergency call system. • Encourages restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence. • Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. • Assures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies. • Shares on-call duties with designated staff. Qualifications: • Valid state, multi-state or compact RN license in good standing. Must have current CPR certification. • Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields, at least 6 months of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred. • Ability to build rapport with patients. • Compassionate and caring demeanor.
