Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred) A doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution in Accounting or closely related discipline; OR current enrollment in a doctoral program in Accounting or in a closely related discipline at a regionally accredited institution with a residency requirement. A minimum of 2 years of professional Accounting experience including US GAAP. Demonstrated ability to teach college-level courses. Demonstrated potential for scholarly activity. Preferred Qualifications A doctorate degree from an AACSB-accredited institution in Accounting or closely related area of study. A minimum of 2 years of public Accounting experience including US GAAP AND an active CPA certification. Record of excellent teaching at the college level. Record of scholarly activity. Duties will include teaching accounting-related classes at the undergraduate/graduate level, advising, research, and service activities. Instructional delivery can occur through traditional, online, and alternative instructional methods on-campus or at off-site educational locations. Summer and winter contracts may be available and are optional for faculty members. Advisement of student organizations is expected.
